Hot sex and still definitely a good read, but felt the mystery side was a bit rushed.

In this fourth installment of the Beer and Clay books we see a lot more of Peter and Christian, as well as Toby and Damon. Peter and Christian have bought a property very close to Damon's bar, and Toby is going to be sub-leasing part of the space for his studio. The book opens with Peter and Christian going through their new space, and christening it the way they do it best. I totally adored Christian in the previous books so it was lovely to see the broody, troubled man apparently doing a lot better.

Unfortunately for all four men, the intruder that has been plaguing the last three books is still in the picture. A barman and Christian both get hurt when the stalker, or whoever he is, tries to get into Toby and Damon's apartment above the bar.

Sean Michael's writes amazing sex scenes especially when there is a BDSM element in it and there is a lot of that in this book - both Damon and Toby, and Peter and Christian. Unfortunately in this book the sex tended to over shadow the story. I wanted to know who the intruder was and why he was after Toby - and yay, we do find that out. But it was such a tiny part of the book. It was wonderful to learn more about Christian and why he found it so hard to submit, and scenes with Toby and Damon are always good. There's love in this book and that is always precious. But after going through four books waiting to find the end to the mystery over who was stalking Toby and Damon, I couldn't help feeling disappointed by the end of the book. Hot sex and a good read, definitely. But maybe the intruder could have given us a little monologue so we could see what he was all about?

Good Reading

Peter and Christian are excited to finally have the renovations of their new building completed. The caf� Christian will run “Chip and Drip” suits their purposes perfectly. The top floor will be their new home, and best of all the middle floor is a perfect studio for Toby, their friend. Toby and Damon have had it rough lately, and Damon is almost as excited as Toby is that there’s now a safe place surrounded by their friends where Toby can do what he loves – sculpt. Their enemy is still out there though, and a threat to all Toby and Damon hold dear.

This is the next installment of the Beer and Clay series. While it’s sensible to have read the previous stories it’s not strictly necessary. The characters are well-introduced and there’s not a massive amount of background to info-dump on the reader. I feel anyone could pick up with this story and still enjoy it thoroughly. I loved the better understanding we’re given of both Peter and Christian as individuals, and the deeper look we’re given into their relationship. Both men have been active in Damon and Toby’s lives in the previous books and I’ve been keenly interested in Peter and Christian for a while now. Here, we’re finally shown a lot more of both men and I’ve loved this.

I really love what a complicated character Christian is. Peter is perfect for him, but Christian still has such a story to tell. He’s a wonderfully wounded ex-soldier, one who is new to the whole Dom/sub lifestyle and has plenty to learn about the life and himself. His journey is fascinating to watch and I dearly love his character.

I loved exploring both couples’ relationships deeper and learning more about all four characters. There are some satisfying plot conclusions, but readers new to these books will easily be able to pick up from here. A strong, hot read and one I plan to enjoy rereading many times in the future.

Beer & Clay series has fast become an auto-read for me and Brewing substantiated my claim. Sean Michael further took us into the lives of Damon & Toby and Peter & Christian. What I loved about the book was the fact that we were not given a view of only one couple, but treated to a birds-eye view of each couple. Every chapter featured a duo as the forefront with the other as supporting cast.

Although I love Damon and Toby, the dynamics between Peter and Christian is off the chart. Christian’s struggle with the conflict of his military background and his desire to submit radiated through Michael's writing; well-written and with depth.

If , and I say only if, I had any complaint, it would be that the capture of Toby’s stalker appeared anti-climactic, especially since that feature had been interwoven into the backdrop of the story line.

Brewing was sexual and erotic and I look forward to seeing where Sean Michael takes our loving couples next.

Good practical tips

This book is a quick read but contains nuggets of practical tips on visualizing and exercises in the manifesting process. He gives great tips about using all your senses to visualize and feel your desire, and also has tips about how to become open to receiving. He also emphasizes how important it is to actually spend time doing these exercises every day as opposed to just reading about them, the same way a body builder needs to spend some time every day doing exercises to accomplish his goal. I have read many books including The Secret, Joseph Murphy, Wayne Dyer, and this author did give some very good practical advice not mentioned in these other books.

Forget the millions. a better life will be created and the rest will follow.

I don't usually give 5 stars but this is one that truly deserves them. Why? The author kicks out all the fluff and gets straight to the point. The title actually hides the biggest message that is inside the book, that you can manifest anything you want, not just lottery winnings.

This is one of those books that really explains the techniques you REALLY need to get results.

If you have watched 'The Secret' and was left wondering, What now? Then this is the book to give you the answers to those unanswered questions. The film was a great plug for all the 'Law of Attraction' courses that followed. You don't need them.

This short book has the answers and my hat off to the author for making it crystal clear and easy to follow.

It may seem like a cliche, but things have been happening seen changing my attitude to a more positive and out going one. By simply doing what the book outlines you will get results and hopefully your dreams.

Give it a try. It would be a shame if when you die, your dreams die with you. What have you got to lose?

A fantastic look at metaphysical wisdom

This book is fantastic! Eddie writes a serious yet very readable and entertaining look at metaphysics, and how we can manifest our desires and goals. He mentions many of my favorite authors, including Neville Goddard and Dr. Joseph Murphy, emphasizing the very best of their beliefs. Eddie also explains the importance of visualization and vibrational energy. I love this book because of it's warmth and authenticity. Here are a few words of wisdom shared by Eddie:
"A change in consciousness results in a change in physical conditions. We have at our command the most powerful tool known to mankind---our mind. The power within our minds can heal us, prosper us, attract ideal circumstances.....the power of your thoughts is creative energy in its finest and most dynamic form"

About the Author
Barnaby Lenon was Head of Geography at Eton, Vice-President of the Royal Geographical Society and co-author of the 2014 National Curriculum for Geography in England. Iain is a Chartered Geographer and Post 16 Geography Consultant for the Geographical Association, working in the UK and overseas. Rebecca Kitchen has been a geography teacher for 15 years and Head of Geography for over a decade at a girls' grammar school in Buckinghamshire. Andy Schindler is a Devon-based educational consultant and Secondary Geography Teacher who also runs Outdoor Learning for Schools - a company geared up to making connections between the classroom and outdoors. This was the only AS/A-level Geography book available at the time I purchased it and it is not as good as the others I have. The information in the book, the pictures and the graphics are really good and I cannot actually fault the information. However, the book is lacking self-assessment questions, practice exam questions and examiner tips, which I would expect from a book like this. Overall the information is great and is sufficient for the examinations, but I would have liked a little more input on the exam question front.

Michael Fairley has been writing and speaking about label and packaging materials, technology and applications since the 1970s, both as the founder of Labels & Labeling and other print industry magazine titles and as an international consultant writing label industry market and technology research reports for the likes of Frost & Sullivan, Economist Intelligence Unit, Pira, InfoTrends and Labels & Labelling Consultancy.

Preston Gralla, a great explainer of technical subjects who's written several fine books, makes great use of the "enhanced comic book" style to show what talks to what, when, and why. He doesn't oversimplify, either. Though reading this book won't fully prepare you for a job at a wireless service provider, it will enable you to speak intelligently about the differences among various mobile telephony standards.

It's very hard to find fault with this book. All the latest technologies receive attention, including the emerging Voice XML (VXML) concept and the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) standard that sees widespread Japanese use in NTT DoCoMo's i-mode service. Gralla also does his readers a service by explaining activities like mobile-phone service theft. --David Wall

Great book!

If you want to know how any kind of wireless technology works, this is the book for you. Whether it's wireless networks, wireless Internet access, cell phones, WAP, pagers, WSDL...it's all here. The introductory material is great for anyone wanting to understand concepts like how data and information can be sent wireless, how the electromagnetic spectrum works, etc. And even the more complicated material is easy to follow --- the illustrations are clear and are great for explaining wireless concepts. Anyone interested in wireless technology should get this book.

Good book for beginners

This book fulfills its role as the very first book one may wish to read if he/she knows nothing at all about wireless technology and wants a broad overview of the subject. The colorful pictures and brief text descriptions makes the book accessible to newbies. The reader is then prepared to move into more advanced books on this interesting subject.

Great illustration of the basics

A previous reviewer wrote "takes one concept and manages to fill an entire book" as being a negative. The author makes it clear up front that all these technologies use the same basic concept - attaching data to a wave and sending it - so what do you expect?? I'm a wireless engineer and thoroughly enjoyed how the author laid out each technology in a step-by-step fashion, complete with full color illustrations and interesting side notes. I originally picked this book up at the library, but decided I needed my own for quick and enjoyable reference.
