K’Anne Meinel pronounced Kay Ann My Null, is an American author born and raised in Wisconsin. While she has lived in Central and Southern California, she has always returned 'home' to roost. Punctuation is a Writer's Best Friend...when it's used...

This is not the first time I've taken a chance on a new author based on the good reviews only to realize the reviews are very misleading. This book is a mess. I bought it as a kindle gift for my girlfriend and since she claimed it, it cannot be returned, unfortunately. So I'd recommend thinking twice before buying into the reviews for it. I'm seriously wondering if they read the same book? I couldn't get past the first few chapters. The missing punctuation was mind-boggling. It makes for a difficult read of run-on sentences, and there is way too much description...down to every last detail of what Amy is doing or even eating. Neither one of us wanted to continue reading. The book needs some major editing and proofreading. I'm sure it could be much better and more readable, but as is...it's just not worth the headache.

Needs Serious Editing

Would not recommend this book. The story is all right but there is way too much detail. It's like there was a minimum word requirement to be fulfilled. Also, the writer seemed to forget the names of the two main characters as at least twice the wrong name was used in direct reference to the person. I applaud the writer putting a piece of themselves out there, but I would suggest finding an editor.

Abby is the single small town sheriff of Northpoint & she is drawn to Amy, who buys her rundown grandparents store!
This is a sweet little small town romance with the mystery of Amy's previous life looming over it, threatening their love, that is just beginning to surface!! I have it 5 stars!

First Indian novel written in English!

This is supposedly the first Indian novel written in english around mid 1800s and for that reason alone it should be read. Set in traditions of an olden India it brings to the mind the memories of a culture fast disappearing, the patriarchal household with its old customs and values. The story is a short one but surprisingly deals with a very complex issues of love and relationships, trust and honor and personal duties and destinys. An enjoyable read.

About the Author
Mark Lee was born in Boone, Iowa in the early 70's. There he grow up in a Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and attended the local school. He had two parents that loved the Lord and did all that they could to encourage Mark to do the same. But in Mark's teen years he rebelled and found himself in trouble with the Law. Drinking and chasing young women took the place of worship and obedience to the Lord. While in collage, Mark met his future wife, Kelly and the two were married in 1990. They loved one another but faced many problems due to their lack of following the Lord. When Mark was 25 years old, his mother came to him and asked if he planned to raise his then 2 year old son to know the Lord. Mark said absolutely my son will know Jesus. His mother than confronted him with the fact that he was living anyway but for the Lord. This angered Mark but he knew his mother was right. So begrudgingly Mark began to take his family to church. In Mark's own words: "I met Jesus as an adult and found that He was worthy of my obedience and respect." Growing up in Church, Mark had learned of Jesus love and sacrifice but Mark had miss Jesus authority and Lordship. Mark recognized that Jesus was and is more than Savior but that He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. In time God began to transform Mark's heart and gave him a hunger for the Word of God. Soon Mark was teaching Sunday school and nightly Bible studies. God than laid it upon Mark's heart to prepare for full-time ministry. Mark entered into a three year Pastoral study and became a bi-vocational associate pastor of his local church. Mark later entered Christian Camping ministry and served at Hidden Acres camp for five years. Mark went into camp ministry because frankly, it scared him a whole lot less then pastoral ministry. Well God had different plans and Mark became the senior pastor of an Evangelical Free church in Elkader, Iowa and served there for eight years. Today, Mark works with Global Compassion Network. A Christian organization that does compassion ministries around the world as a way to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mark and his wife Kelly of 25 years still live in the Elkader area and have 3 children.

WAAAOOO ... AMAZING AND THRILLING ... A REAL EYE OPENER !!

Waaaoooo ... Amazing and thrilling ... My heart fell to the ground with the horrible situation that these two honest law enforcement officers went through. This book exposes the dirt and corruption that plagues agencies like the FBI and the Police departments around the country. This book is a real eye opener My heart and sympathy are with these two officers whom were use as scapegoats to cover and protect the guilty.

Ignored Truth was extremely entertaining however sadly true. This book made me feel extremely emotional for two reasons: We have all had that one person in our family that would ask for help and never take our kindness for ignorance. The one person in the family that you would trust your first born with. The one person in your family that would never stab you in the back. That one person you would bet your life on in being there as family does. Not in ignored truth. If I could reach through the pages and choke someone it would be Tony, and his wife. We shelter ourselves as human beings with people we trust and expect that we will not be betrayed by those that we love. This book takes you on a river ride of immeasurable heartache and destructive circumstances caused by a trusted "so called" family friend from a New York Dominican family. I have added the ethnicity and location of the family because if you know a Dominican you know they live by the FAMILY and die by the FAMILY especially as immigrants living in NYC.
My second reason for feeling so emotional after reading Ignored Truth is Law enforcement and the corruption that runs ramped throughout all departments. It's amazing how the FBI wanted to use these two officers to do the dirty work (snitch) instead of internal affairs who failed to do their job. I can't imagine how these men survived adversity after losing the things they cherished the most. Their good FAMILY name and their badge. Together they prevailed as a true Dominican family does.. American strong! Read this true story you will not be disappointed but in turn be inspired by two admirable men taken advantage of and surviving!

This book had me in suspense from beginning to end. It portrays a nasty truth, an emotional truth, a devastating truth, an ignored truth.
