 Great to keep kids engaged. On a long 400 mile trip me and my daughter enjoyed the problems. There are lot of white space where kids can doodle and explore the problems. Ideal for 10-12 year olds. A sample problems on the book are

Not really what I expected.

Well, I really wanted to love this. Geometry is so interesting. I expected this to be more drawing. A lot of the problems were going to just be doodling numbers. You will need to know Geometry to do this book. It does not explain things.

Some of the recipes are repetitious with only minor variations. The sugar content of some of these "energy" drinks are also questionable.

Not something I would be glad I bought

Not one of these recipes looked appetizing. Well, which claims to be a " the one with milk, cocoa and banana, which I make fairly regularly without this book is ok. #23, which claims to be a "baking soda and honey energy drink" does not even include honey. There's a peach drink that calls for two cups of peaches - in addition to several other ingredients, and serves ONE! I think @ least two. Some of them really tickled me: ready in under an hour. Three minutes tops, is closer to the truth. Not a thorough or even delicious recipe here, except the above mentioned milk and banana and banana - only I add some vanilla yogurt. Pass this one by.

This book by Melissa Pflug is an excellent investigation of Odawa culture done before the 2005 establishment of the sovereign nation for the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians. Dr. Pflug is an original researcher and informed writer.
